However, there may be a more cost effective alternative. Andrew Horsley NSW President of the Graduate Management Association of Australia, recommends that people interested in an overseas management education sign up for those Australian business schools that offer shorter courses at associated universities overseas.

For example, the Australian Graduate School of Management has links with many overseas institutions including Duke University, the Kellogg School of Management and the London Business School.

Horsley says that although it can be costly to go overseas, there are substantial benefits: "You get to see how others operate and you pick up a real sense of living and working in a global economy".
