"When selecting from such a plethora of programs, President of the Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA) Andrew Horsley suggests weighing up a business school’s reputation, faculty and course content. ‘There is a demand and a need for well taught and well respected MBAs,’ Mr Horsley said, noting that MBAs are now considered a mainstream qualification in business. ’There is a trend toward part-time, shorter, more compressed MBAs however the full-time program is a deeper and richer experience,’ he said. ‘GMAA’s Andrew Horsley said there is a growing interest in Australia and New Zealand from international business schools, through partnerships and in their own right. He said Australian business schools were already well regarded internationally but they would need to maintain these high standards if they were to compete effectively in the world marketplace"
